The spirit of God hovered over the earth.
And he saw that darkness had enveloped a certain part of the world
And he said “let there be light”
At that moment, Guru Nanak awoke from his long meditation under the Bed tree at the banks of Bein river
And spoke these words
“There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim”
“There is but One Universal Creator God”
“His Name is Truth”
“Creative Being Personified”
“Without Fear. Without Hate”
“Image Of The Undying”
“Beyond Birth”
“Self-Existen”
“The Guru’s Grace”
Ik Oankar Sat Naam Karta Purakh Nirbhau Nirvair Akaal Moorat Ajooni Saibhang Gur Prasaad.))
With this truth, the Guru renounced his life of luxury and set off on a journey by foot with just his clothes and sandals and
“without fear”
“without hate”
The Guru having been graced was led by the light
